At Mordialloc Neighbourhood House, our Koalas group offers flexible occasional child care for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years. Our play-based program follows the Early Years Learning Framework. It helps your child learn through play, explore new experiences, and make friends. Your child can also build confidence at their own pace. You can book short sessions to suit your schedule. Care is available for up to 15 hours per week. This can help your child transition into care gently. Choose casual or permanent bookings, depending on what works best for your family. Our qualified educators provide a safe, caring environment. We work with you to support your child’s interests, wellbeing, and development. At Mordialloc Neighbourhood House, Gumnuts is designed for your 3 and 4-year-old to strengthen developmental, social, emotional, and language skills. Our small group size means your child receives individual attention and support, giving them the best start for the school years ahead. The program runs Monday to Friday, with mornings focused on a structured learning environment and afternoons encouraging social skills through play and exploration. Your child must turn 3 prior to April 30 in the year of attendance. If you’re seeking a nurturing, school-readiness pathway that balances guidance and play, Gumnuts offers a warm, supportive environment where your child can grow in confidence and connection.
